We also wanted to tell a little more about ourselves...Punk n Posh was founded in October 2009 by stay at home mom, Kassi Clifford as a way to contribute financially to the household while staying at home with her newborn daughter and three other children Logan, Cayleigh and Gabe.  In the few short months it has been open, Kassi has met with several others like her that have a strength and background in Creative Design/Art (also a mural artist) and that stay at home with their little ones.  She has chosen to bring in several other moms as a way to help them also do something for their family without taking them out of the home or at least on a minimal basis whether in making new product for PnP webstore and shows (we just brought in 2 new crochet artists and are considering a new designer to add some of her pieces to the line~all stay at hom mommies), photographing for the website, or working as sales people at the occasional show to spread the word about PnP.  In order to continue supporting strong moms and all that they do, we need to spread the word about PnP and support other "mom-based" and local businesses (we will be providing links to other mom-supporting sites that we <3 soon)!! !   You should also know that being moms ourselves, we are extremely mindful of safety and durability in all of our designs.  We are also very price conscious as we have family budgets to work from too! 

In light of that, we felt we should explain how we are able to keep our prices so low.  By not investing into heavy advertising, real estate (boutique locations) and pricey packaging, that's how!  We don't want to pass all those costs on to you so we can stay afloat.  Why do you think the bows, hats, etc. at the boutiques are so high?  Someone has to cover those expenses...we just don't want that to be you (or us)!!  We feel word of mouth and shows can bring us the customers we need at little to no cost.  We feel the product is cute enough as a stand alone and speaks for itself rather that flashy packaging.  That in turn keeps our adorable pieces at lower costs that you will find in any boutique and more than guarantees that quality of one with the highest standards!

Well, it has been a very busy week for us at Punk n Posh--we've been making a TON of new product (way too many late nights!) and prepping for some of the biggest Christmas events in Louisville as well as planning a second photo shoot scheduled in Utah for next week showcasing all the new Holiday Pieces, Signature Layers (SKULLY & PUNKY) that have SOLD OUT at the shows they have been so popular, and the new release of the HIPCHIC band which previewed VERY well today at the Anchorage Christmas show with the teenage girls. We simply cannot wait to get all of these new photos and items posted on the web so we are aiming to get them up by the end of next week!

Well, it has been a month since we have opened and since our anniversary falls on Black Friday, we felt it appropriate to offer some INCREDIBLE specials!  Over the past few days we have made some new additions (Jazzy Toes, 2 toned and Sparkling Flowers!) to the site we know youi will be just as tickled about as we are.  We had an AMAZING show here locally that benefited Stopher Elementary and we plan to attend Christmas in Anchorage Saturday, Dec 5th and Middletown Elementary's Art with Santa night December 10th as well.  We heard so much customer feedback, we really learned which of our products you love and realized that many of them were not even yet on the website!  As we continue to grow, we will find new ways to get everything up and available for you to view, but it's nealry impossible when so many items are One of a Kind!  If you are local and can catch us at a show, that's a great way to see first hand and another option that will soon be coming is to host a Punk n Posh Party (but that option still only helps you if you live in the Louisville area).  Once solution we have come up with is our own Etsy shop.  There we will try to post many OOAK items and there will be a direct link to it from our website, check the 'Etsty Store' Page.
